Terms of use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Lorenzo Montoli about your use of Biblo. The app is free of charge. By using it you accept these terms and the privacy policy; if you do not agree with them, do not use it.

2. Licence

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app for lawful purposes. All intellectual property rights in the app remain ours. The software is proprietary and includes third-party components, listed with their licences inside the app.

3. You are talking to an AI

Answers are generated automatically by artificial-intelligence models: they are probabilistic and can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. Always check important information against the original sources.

4. Your keys, your content

The app contains no API keys: the AI features work with your own key and your own account at the model provider (Google Gemini). That service's usage limits, costs and conditions are between you and them. You are responsible for the content you submit through the app and for having the rights to use it.

5. Acceptable use

The acceptable-use rules of the model provider you use apply, and in any case you agree not to use the app to process or generate content that:

  • is unlawful;
  • constitutes child sexual abuse material or sexualises minors in any form;
  • infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties;
  • contains malware, or attempts to breach or abuse systems or services.

6. No professional advice

The app’s answers are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind — legal, medical, financial or otherwise.

7. No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided “as is”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of the app or of its answers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.

8. Third-party services and minimum age

The app relies on services we do not control: the Google Gemini API, Wikipedia (the short descriptions used to build the cards), and GitHub (update checks and downloads, model download). They may change or cease at any time, and we are not responsible for them. You must be at least 14 years old to use the app.

9. Changes, law, contact

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we increase their version number and the app asks you to read and accept them again. Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Questions: lorenzomontoli@gmail.com.
